  Due to its high density, Tungsten is used for shielding against radiation. It is used in measuring instruments, for example, to avoid measuring errors which can be caused by radiation.

  Its very high stiffness and mass combined with its special grain structure makes Heavy Metal an ideal material for tool holders of high precision tools.
   

• Mould Inserts

  For increasing wear resistance of moulds and for productivity in die casting, mould inserts made of Heavy Metal on Tungsten basis are used.
